Frequently Asked Questions

Recipients

Can I only get help if I need consistent food access?

Not at all! We do our best to distribute weekly and bi-weekly meals. If you are only in need for a week or two, instead of a long-term commitment, that’s no problem at all.

I’ve gotten help from programs like this before. How is this different?

Our team is on the smaller side, compared to large companies in the area. Our team lives in many of the communities we serve, so we are able to target our services at a finer point. We understand that some experiences can be disheartening, but we are completely open to discovering your specific needs. Let us know how we can help you specifically, here.

How do I get my child started in the enrichment programs?

We partner directly with school, community organizations, and other stakeholders; Check with your school/school district or organization to Inquire or for more information, if we partner with them. As long as your child is of schooling age we’d be happy to keep them creative and engaged during your busy times.

Do you have virtual programs?

YES! To get updates about our programs in the coming months, you can sign up for updates here.

Partners & Collaborators

Is there setup fee for organizations, schools and other programs?

Every organization is different. In order to determine your specific needs, fill out our application to work together and we’ll have a call to get the process started.

Who needs to reach out to begin a partnership?

Anyone can do initial contact! We’ve worked alongside counselors, teachers, community organizations, and even superintendents. As long as the information we need can be available through your point of contact, we’d be happy to help.

How is The Bailey Foundation funded?

We are operational due to a combination of grants, private donors, donations and partnerships with federal agencies like the Department of Health and Senior Services.

What information do you need from us to get started?

To begin a program like after school/summer enrichment or meals in your community, we would need the projected number of participants or students, as well as the days and times you’d like us to work together. We would also love to have primary contact and secondary contact information.
